Introduces reading strategies and study skills necessary for college success. Through integration of acquired knowledge and reading practice, students will develop strategies for vocabulary expansion, comprehension, critical thinking, and increase reading rate. Students must earn a minimum grade of C to pass the course. Credit received in this course does not count toward graduation.
