Humanities Minor
Program Description
Students minoring in the humanities explore the depth and diversity of cultural achievements through the ages. They attain a deeper understanding of, and a greater appreciation for, the legacy of human expression and the univeral questions they address. The study of humanities is an interdisciplinary pursuit that especially employs the arts, philosophy, literature, theater, religious studies, and history. A major aim is to broaden awareness of and personal engagement with the cultural forces that shape human existence.
