Counseling Minor
Program Description
The Counseling Minor features courses in human development, psychosocial adjustment, and human services. Students gain a foundation in counseling skills, which they may apply during an internship at a local human service agency. This minor may be of particular interest to students pursuing Bachelor’s degree programs in psychology, nursing, criminal justice, kinesiology, and business management, as well as those earning Associate's degrees in social work and substance abuse prevention and treatment.
