Corrections Minor
Program Description
The minor in corrections will prepare students to meet the minimum requirements to work for the Michigan Department of Corrections. Additionally, the students gain a solid knowledge base in general correctional concepts including institutional corrections, community based corrections, probation and parole. This minor is suitable for students pursuing bachelor degrees in other Criminal Justice fields, Fire Sciences, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, and other degrees.
