Homeland Security Minor
Program Description
The minor in Homeland Security will provide students a solid foundation in Homeland Security concepts and practical skills. Students get to customize their courses based on selection of optional classes in upper level courses allowing for a focused educational experience. This minor is for students who will be seeking employment with local, state, federal, non-profit and private agencies. This minor is suitable for students pursuing bachelor’s degrees in other Criminal Justice fields, Business, Computer Sciences, Environmental Science, Fire Science, Management, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, and other degrees.

The Homeland Security Minor cannot be applied to the Associate Degree Criminal Justice Homeland Security, the Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a Homeland Security Concentration or equivalent.
